If you love what you do, it will never feel like “work.” Being in a leadership and operations role, I get to impact both our internal and external stakeholders every day. The fulfillment I get from coaching and growing our team allows me to fill up my contribution bucket. Growing up with a veterinarian father allowed me to see the concern pet owners have when it comes to their pet’s health. When it comes to working, I have the best of both worlds: I am a full-time teacher and a pro-blogger. I run my blogging business with my husband, giving us more time together since I’m away from home when school is in session. After I wake, I work on our blogging business; then, I get ready for my school day, which continues until 3:00 pm. While I’m at school, my husband runs our business. On my breaks, I work on our blogging business and take care of my teaching responsibilities. I come home and work on our blogging business until dinner, when we relax for the evening.

I’m a content marketer for a B2B eCommerce company, and I love the work that I spend my time doing. I’ve always loved writing and felt that words could have power when used right, and working as a content marketer gives me a chance to prove it every day. The company I work for provides payment processing services to other businesses, so I need to figure out why a business would use our services and then figure out and craft the content that will communicate to them that we are the solution they need.
