Content creators on YouTube often rely on sponsors to support the relatively meager ad revenue streams. Sponsored products range from video games and gadgets to premium memberships and audiobooks. Sponsors then provide the creators with promo codes they can share with their fans for discounts on said products.
Usually, there’s a limited pool of promo codes to hand out, so make sure you’re subscribed to your favorite content creator, wait for a notification, and be among the first to activate the code.
