Alpine Village, south of Los Angeles, boasts one of the greatest sausage cooks in the area, serving superb German-style hot dogs with a unique crunch. I frequently travel, flying out of New York airports and coming home late. Their drive-through is open until midnight, and a pair of their amazing, garlicky dogs with mustard and sauerkraut washed down with orange soda is nectar and ambrosia.
